About Me

Hi, I’m Zixu Qiao, the founder of LandSpace Architecture, an online platform where I share design tutorials, visualization techniques, and insights on architecture, landscape architecture, and the integration of AI in design. With over 65,000 YouTube subscribers and 95,000 Instagram followers, I’m passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of designers.

I’m also the author of the award-winning book Landscape Architecture for Sea Level Rise: Innovative Global Solutions, which received the prestigious 2024 ASLA Professional Award, Architecture Book of the Year Awards by WAF, Best Book of Year 2022 by ASLA. My work focuses on climate resilience, GeoDesign, and innovative approaches to addressing environmental challenges.

In addition to running LandSpace Architecture, I’m a guest lecturer at universities in the US, Canada and the UK, where I teach topics like architectural mapping, resilient design, and AI-driven tools in landscape architecture. I’ve also created a guidebook and lecture series on using AI in architecture, blending cutting-edge technology with creative design practices.

I founded LandArch.org, a non-profit platform that showcases exceptional projects in landscape architecture, urban design, and the arts, offering a stage for students and emerging firms to share their work globally.

Through my teaching, research, and platforms, I aim to inspire creativity, promote innovative solutions, and advance design practices in a rapidly changing world.
